About Skyway House

Located in Chico California, Skyway House first opened its doors in 1993 thanks to a man with a dream. Tommy Higgins and six of his newly recovering friends were determined to help those with chemical dependency concerns sustain recovery and maintain sobriety. All they had was a key to an abandoned house in Paradise, CA. and a mission to help others. Together, they found a new way to live and, along the way, assisted countless other addicts and alcoholics in staying clean and sober as well. Their dream has been realized and, since then, the organization has improved the lives of thousands of people who wished to break free from the powerful grips of addiction.

Skyway House offers hope to those who strive to recover from an addiction to substances by supplying care that treats each client’s mind, body, and spirit. Licensed by the state of California, we offer care designed to support the individual in the recovery process. Once individuals complete residential treatment they can transition to our continuing care program.

Our staff of drug and alcohol counselors are professional, compassionate, and specially trained to treat even the most severe of addictions. These individuals are also readily available to offer support and guidance to loved ones to provide healing for those closest to those entrusted in our care.

If you feel that you or a loved one would benefit from the life-saving care offered at Skyway House feel free to contact us to get more information or to schedule an evaluation with our Admissions Coordinator. We proudly serve Butte County and all of Northern California.

At Skyway House we want to help you achieve the bright and sober future you deserve.
